Bracing Myself

We just got back from dentist appointments for the kids.  Both need braces so I’ll brace myself for that bill. I’m still struggling to read The Midnight Library. I told my mom that I was struggling and she said she’s read it and that I’ll like it. There's a few people in this world that I trust wholeheartedly and Linda is one of them so I need to buck up and keep reading. Jill moved down on the list of people to trust after she made me read Yesteryear. I told her I was struggling and she also said I’d be fine but the first line is “It was 19 days before I decided to die.” and each chapter starts with a countdown. I’m at “Five hours before she decided to die…”Yeah Jill, it's looking fine.”  I’m sure I’ll like it. I love being pleasantly surprised.
